John is a certified nutritionist with a primary focus in endurance nutrition and performance, specifically for runners and the marathon. While pursing his nutrition degree, John competed at both the collegiate and professional level as a 10k and marathon specialist.
In addition to endurance performance, John is also interested plant-based, gluten-free and vegetarian nutrition and performance. John strives to fuel himself as best as possible and is always experimenting, reading recent research, and challenging himself to improve his understanding of how nutrition impacts performance.
John is currently training to qualify for his 10th Boston marathon and working on producing informative, helpful content for runners to improve their race times and overall health through nutrition.
